As far as my friend goes, he's doing better. He's taking baby steps toward adding truly healthy choices to his lifestyle. I won't even attempt to detoxify his off-kilter mindset medicals bad that places such ridiculous paradigms of health on a pedestal. As long as he's getting healthier, that's what matters most... for now.
And a greater part of medicals fake the issue is all those products bought were with the idea that the cure was just about to happen the next day or at the very latest next week. You didn't get to the point of being unhealthy yesterday or last week, but the good news is it won't take you as long to undo what it took so long to accomplish, if you want to call poor health an accomplishment.
It's a great idea to shift the focus of the visit away from the immunizations. Ask your son or daughter what they would like to tell the doctor. Remind them if they have had a physical complaint frequently that you're hoping the doctor will address. Suggest they mention their hobbies medicals bad and fake interests. Ask them what else they think the doctor will do besides the shots.
The bad news is the US national debt would now be at a stout $17.3 trillion. The senate vote was 50-49 in favor of the increased debt ceiling. That means about half of our elected officials in Washington, D.C. actually don't know how many zero's are in a trillion. And there are 17.3 to account for. A government default has been avoided....for now. For years our elected politicians have proved they have no idea how to balance a budget. Of course if you have someone's else's money to budget with, it really doesn't matter if it balances or not. What is going to change moving forward in the hearts, minds, and souls of our government officials that will allow the start of debt reduction?
All these things didn't make sense to me some years back when I was going through a very difficult phase in my life. It was only when a friend of mine suggested reading some funny materials, that I realized that funny jokes are really powerful and they can change the mood of a person instantly. Since then I have been reading funny jokes almost every time I feel like laughing and getting relief from everyday stress.
Which is why every time I'm about to enter a patient's exam room to deliver bad news myself I pause and remember Mrs. Peterson, a woman I've never seen or heard from since, but whose life I irrevocably changed in the middle of the night while she lay at home in bed without her husband next to her--as she would from that point forward--all those years ago.
